Anytime is Denim Time!!

As a stylist I understand the importance of denim. It is what we call a “staple” in the wardrobe! Denim has evolved so much in the past few years and I am the girl that has them on at least 5 days a week! It is vital to understand that investing in denim is a necessary thing! When you wear a piece of clothing over and over you want it to last! You all know I am a Nordstrom gal, I love a store that offers me so many price points and an incredible selection to choose from!  

This is my investment jean! Let me introduced you to a brand called Current Elliot! These are my go to jeans for several reasons! First of all, and most importantly these babes DO NOT stretch out! Thats right ladies, no awkward jean squat required to keep these up! As a huge fan of comfort myself, Current Elliot has nailed the fit on just enough stretch to make the jean look and feel great on. I’ve also been thrilled that as many times as I have washed these they still look fresh! 

Now, I wear my skinny jeans to anything from my kids games on the weekends, to date night with heels, to work with a blazer and a great loafer! Talk about getting your money's worth! This particular look is definitely a date night look for me! Now, I have paired my denim with the cutest one shoulder ruffle top, a neutral clutch, a sassy rose colored block heel, and a simple gold choker! The most expensive thing I have on is my denim! I have told friends and clients for years to mix your higher price item with the lower price points! This will give you a mix in your wardrobe so you never feel like you are wearing the same thing over and over. 

One of the best parts of this look on the blog today was that I grabbed the entire outfit from Nordstrom! Not just my denim, ALL of it! Every piece I added to my outfit was all under $100! Talk about making shopping super convienent for a gal!  So as you are looking for a new pair of denim to replace your old stretched out ones, make sure and remember that investing in yourself is important! Having jeans that fit your body NOW is vital! I am thrilled to have comfy jeans, Nordstrom for making shopping fun, and for you guys and all your support!!
