Best of 2020

Rounding up my top 10 best purchases of 2020! Each of these are still available and all linked below each picture. Let’s take a look!

1.Veronica Beard Camo Baseball Tee: This is one I bought for many of my clients the minute it hit the racks! A simple, yet trendy long sleeve tee you can easily throw on with jeans and sneakers is a must have. I loved it so much I had to snag it for myself and I am so glad I did!

2. Marc Fisher Shearling Boots: As you may have noticed, the combat boot trend has been a big one this fall/winter. Although these are at a somewhat higher price point, they have proven their quality since I have worn the heck out of them! If you ask me what the “shoe of the season” is, I’d point to this. Love it!

3. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings: Even though I bought these a couple years ago, they have remained a staple in my fall/winter wardrobe each year. I can easily recommend these to anyone, for they are THE definition of a piece that can be dressed up or down. Super comfortable, chic, and 100% worth $!

4. Spanx Faux Patent Leather Leggings: This was definitely my most “sassy” purchase of the year! I got these before our trip to Vegas for Case’s 40th birthday and loved styling them with a sweater and knee-high boots for dinner. And yes, they actually are comfy on the inside! They also came in handy for the holidays and date nights here at home.

5. Veronica Beard Debbie Skinny Jeans: AKA my “magic jeans” as I have named them! These are hands down my favorite pair of jeans. Being slimming and super dark, they seriously work wonders. This is another must-have that I have purchased for clients as well and we all love them!

6. Schutz Maryana Pointed Toe Boots: A boot that could hardly stay in stock! These were best sellers for sure and it’s easy to understand why. I’m a huge fan of the style of the snake-embossed leather and apparently everyone else is too! The slim heel and moveable material make the heeled boot comfortable and chic at the same time. These will carry you into spring too!

7. Caslon Henley Top: This cozy Henley made its debut at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this summer and immediately became a favorite. It’s lightweight, soft, comes in 5 colors, and is just one of those effortless grab-and-go pieces. I grabbed it in black and white!

8. Zella Live In Pocket Joggers: Another Anniversary Sale favorite! I’ve enjoyed having another versatile and casual pant option rather than leggings. Their slim fit and lightweight performance fabric make them comfortable, yet still feminine.

9. Veronica Beard Miller Dickey Jacket: If you know me or have been following along for at least a little while now, you know VB is one of my favorite contemporary designer brands. I stand by the brand for their quality and unique designs, with the dickey jacket standing out as their signature piece. I own the “Miller” style jacket in a couple colors/patterns, but the black with silver buttons has been my go-to! I carry this blazer as I would any jacket or outerwear item, whether I’m going out to dinner, getting on a plane, or going to work. When you’re ready to invest in a staple piece that will last, this is your move!

10. Jenni Kayne Pullover Sweater: Last but not least…another brand I stand by and love for their quality and simplicity. When I buy from Jenni Kayne, I know I’m getting a classic piece that will pair back with many things I already have in my closet. I’ve grabbed this cream-colored sweater so many times because I can style it a different way each time I wear it.

And that’s it for this last year’s favorite purchases - So long 2020! Although I am glad to see you go, I’m grateful for the wardrobe you brought me! Hopefully you all enjoy these items as much as I do and have a safe and happy new year!
