Men's Holiday Gift Guide
Stello_Peeps! It’s Case once again sharing some thoughts on the blog… So - here is a Men’s Holiday Gift Guide written from the man’s perspective once again so that you don’t have to try and guess what it is that a man might have on his holiday wish list. Shopping for Him can be really easy or it can be fairly challenging. Totally depends on your man and what it is that he likes or in some cases what he doesn’t like. I don’t claim to know what your guys would want for Christmas, but what I can do is share with you some things that I think are pretty cool and some great deals I’ve found… Some of which I had to force myself not to buy while building this gift guide ;-). So here a 5 categories of things that have found their way onto my Men’s Gift Guide, by a man who likes gifts.
1. Shoes -
Yes shoes are almost always at the top of the list when it comes to men’s gift guides. Why? Because shoes are cool! And you have multiple options. If your man is a little more on the prep side, then you can go with some nice dress shoes or some cool dressy sneakers that he can wear with some nicer jeans or dressier pants or chino type looks. You can go with some warm winter boots, or my favorite - grab a fresh pair of sneakers (because the sneaker world is going crazy once again. - If you remember the 80’s and early 90’s - sneaker game mattered but now you can use them so much more than we could back then.) Quality sneakers can be worn with almost anything… literally. I’m not saying you are going to throw on a pair of 3 stripes with you suit, but it’s darn near close.
2. Sweater and Hoodies -
It’s cold outside and sweater weather no doubt. Sweaters are always in during the colder months and sweatshirts with graphics are now back. Even the brand Champion has made it’s way back to the table this year and are great grabs for your man for casual looks for date night, Fridays and weekend wears. - The Hoodie is one of my personal favs and I will always say yes to another hoodie. They are warm, go with jeans, joggers, nicer pants (with the right hoodie) or even shorts if I’m headed to the gym. Again, hoodies with graphics or large text are in or you can go with the nothing on it… Great brands: Adidas, Nike, Champion, H&M… all will do the trick and are not overpriced.
3. Travel Bags -
Riane and I travel quite a bit, so my bags are always taking a beating each year. I will typically get a new bag of some sort each year. Whether it’s a new back pack, a new duffle, suitcase, or a doc kit. I rotate and just update the one that needs it, so every 3-4 years I’m rolling over the entire travel kit because each bag will typically make it 2-3 years, but updating each year keeps me from having to drop the $$$ on all of them at once.
4. Hats - Scarfs - Accessories
I am a hat guy. I have been since I was… like since I existed. I love baseball hats, snap backs, fitted hats, beanies, etc… I’ve even started a hat company. - Purple Bear Hat Co. Scarfs are a great accessory that I love to mix into my looks. You can dress up almost all looks with a scarf as well as keeping yourself warmer and makes a great gift. I keep my scarfs in neutral colors and go with grays, blacks, and blues. (much like my beanies). - Beaded bracelets are a huge accessory right now for men and another great gift you can get your man to use in both casual and dressy looks.
5. Cool Stuff -
This is a mixture of electronics, books, mugs, and just some really cool stuff out right now. Watches, virtual reality headsets, headphones, music anything… For the most part, men love new, cool, innovative electronics or things that make life easier and just more fun.
Happy Holiday Shopping for the men in your world :-)!
