One Year…and a few months later…The StelloStyle Story

Hello all my dear friends! I hope you are enjoying 2017 so far! Now one year...and a few months later, Case and I wanted to tell each and everyone of you how very grateful we are for your support! I know getting one more email to check, or the 100th facebook notification can get old, very old! So know that we feel so blessed that you have joined us on this crazy journey!

Looking back on this last year it's crazy to think we have learned so much, grown so much, fought so much, and laughed so much. I am beyond proud of what we have accomplished in the world of social media and know that we still have so much more to do! 

I have to brag on my hubs here for a bit. Without him StelloStyle simply would not exist! He encouraged and nurtured this dream of mine from day one. I’m not sure if you guys know this but Case (@stello_fello) literally holds the pieces together. While I am working as as stylist, Case works endlessly on StelloStyle. He is the man behind the camera and in charge of all the photography, edits all the pictures, manages all my emails, works with brands so we can have collaborations, orders any online purchases, edits my blogs, posts all of my content, and researches constantly how we can continue to grow in a vicious industry. I am a proud wife. Plus, he has to work with and put up with me!

SO what do I do? lol Sounds like nothing! I pick all content that is shown, have way too much input on pics, provide all the captions on posts, write the blogs, and meet regularly with other bloggers to throw ideas around! I think its fun to know what goes on behind the scenes! Which is one of the reasons we started doing our Facebook “Riane and Case do…” - yes that was a plug…the benefit of having your own blog is that you can plug your own stuff ;-). 

I’ve had multiple clients ask me, “So how do you make money with your blog?” The simple answer to let you peek behind the curtain is... through commissions. All of our social media functions as a marketing platform for brands. We are affiliated with RewardStyle aka “@Liketoknow.it” on Insta and anything you see on a blog, Facebook post, Insta can be purchased by following the links provided. I also have a “shop your stores” page that has many of my clients favorite stores listed, so when you clink on the link, we make a commission on any purchases. So if you are reading a blog and think, "Oh wow, I really like that skirt or shirt or jacket or earrings or Case’s sweet kicks…" you can click the link, purchase and $ heads to StelloStyle’s account. If you are thinking, "Oh, I need to make an order from Nordstrom" (because it’s amazing) you can go to http://www.stellostyle.com/shop-your-stores/ and then hit the Nordy link, and we get a commish from the sale. We literally have an affiliation with hundreds of stores that you can shop from our site even if we haven't posted about it in a specific blog or Insta. For example - Bed Bath and Beyond, Zappos, Target, Pottery Barn, Amazon, Tripadvisor (yes you can plan your trips, book flights, hotels, etc…through our shop stores page.) 

So the end goal with StelloStyle really is for us to become major influencers in the world of fashion and this first year…(and few months) we’ve taken some major steps towards that goal. So much of that is because of you guys! I am so grateful for all of you who subscribe to my blog, who follow us on Insta, who like, share, and comment on posts…it means so much to have the support from such amazing people. Thank you all for making StelloStyle’s first year in social media a success! Here’s to celebrating all that’s been accomplished and continually looking ahead to what can be! Thanks again you guys!
