One of my favorite things about being a stylist and a blogger is being able to have the latest insight on not only fashion and trends, but where to buy and who has the best deals. I am a high low shopper, meaning I like to buy my investment pieces that are usually a higher price point, and buy on a lower price the trendier items that I might not keep in my wardrobe as long.
Walmart has been a staple in so many homes for years and years, saving dollars for anyone who shops with them. I never had Walmart in mind when it came to fashion, so when I had the opportunity to partner with them I wanted to make sure that it was the real deal. For all you who just did a double take, YES… I did say Walmart. The “go-to” for oh so many other things… is now carrying premium brands for fashion. Again - You can now shop premium fashion brands for fall at Walmart!

I am so excited that Walmart has expanded into a more fashion savvy site to shop for not only your grocery essentials but now for your closet as well! You can simply click and shop from brands like, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, Lord and Taylor, Steve Madden, and more! And for the next 2 days - almost all regular priced and sale priced items are an additional 30% off (Lord & Taylor)! I shopped the site and found myself a cart full of Fall transitional pieces and then narrowed my items down to two pieces I loved. One of my favorite perks of shopping with Walmart is the free two day shipping! I have found that so many stores offer free shipping, but mainly ground that takes up to a week or two to arrive. My items arrived in 2 days and were in perfect condition, along with the necessary paper work to ship back if needed. (this is not the case with many other places online. We order a lot of things online for clients and our family - and it’s always a clear sign of great customer service when a company provides you with the necessary paper work and shipping labels in the box with your order to make returns simple and easy.)
I have been eyeing several styles of the buckle bootie look for this Fall, but not wanting to spend a ton, knowing it would be a fun look but not a forever look. I found my favorite pair at Walmart and it has been a perfect addition to my Fall wardrobe! I find that styles I am nervous about investing in are usually more trendy, and when I want to try a style and not have buyers remorse - this is an amazing solution! I love pairing these boots back with my jeans and tees, and also back with a sweater dress and even a blazer!
Another item on my needs list for this fall was a longer cardigan style sweater that I could wear weekly to work. I am always cold because the stores are freezing! When I am in a styling appointment I like to be comfortable and also look put together at the same time. This duster style cardigan was another must have find on the Walmart site. I clicked on the Lord and Taylor link and found so many choices. I actually had four options in my cart but made myself narrow it down! Again, this is an item that I was ok with paying a little bit more for because I know that a grey cardigan will always be in stye and useful within my wardrobe.
