Favorite Winter Hats

I am obsessed with hats for three magical reasons…

  1. They keep my head warm
  2. I don’t have to wash my hair that day
  3. They make me feel somewhat mysterious (ha!)

In all seriousness I do LOVE hats. Below are three super affordable ones that are my current favs and in constant rotation in my wardrobe.

1. B.P. Chain Band Short Brim Panama Hat $13

The hardware on this hat is enough to bring interest without being a distraction. I love that the chain on the hat is polished and not shiny, making it feel more casual. This rich camel color goes back with gray, cream, black, navy, white, and denim like a dream. The short brim makes it easy to wear without losing my peripheral version and risk of walking into people/things. (it happens, sadly I know this from personal experience)

2. Phase 3 Faux Fur Pompom Beanie $28

This comes in 5 colors! I choose black because, well I wear a lot of black! The Phase 3 beanie in particular is great because it doesn't have a ton of extra fabric bunching at the top so it lays perfect. I can wear this hat with my work out clothes, running errands and feel funky but not like I’m trying too hard, ya know?

3. B.P. Felted Wool Panama Hat on sale 50% off = $13.98

What? Only $13 to look mysterious!? Sign me up! Also, gray is one of my favorite colors, hands down. This hat is light weight and an added bonus to any casual outfit. Whether thrown on with denim and a white tee or a black dress and booties, you will be killing it.

Now, here is the trick about wearing a hat..just enjoy it! Don't over think it. Everyone is not looking at you like you are crazy for wearing a hat. Smile and have fun with your dirty, warm hair, while you are looking all mysterious at the same time! Three birds - one stone people! I will say that beanies are easier to wear if you don’t have short hair. Panama hats however can be worn with most haircuts and lengths.
