Denim and Lace: A Match made in Heaven

I love the simplicity of combining two of my favorite things in my closet! Denim and lace! So much of fashion is the attitude that you approach it with and having the courage to try new things (within reason lol!) There used to be so many “rules” in fashion, and now the one rule is to push the boundaries and ignore things we all heard growing up. Lace is no longer saved for dressy evenings only…

There is definitely something edgy when you have the detail of classic lace peeking out under denim. I love the versatility of denim these days! 

Now if you are feeling like overalls may not be your best look, please don't be afraid to try the same approach with your dark denim skinny or wide flare leg jeans. 

I choose heels most of the time for the simple fact that I am very short and I love the length that they add to my body!  However, if heels are not an option try lace up black flats for a perfect alternative!
