The perfect dress for that spring time transition…

We are all starting to get that itch, the spring fashion itch! The days are gradually starting to warm up bringing with them promises of color in our wardrobes! FINALLY we can wear something other than black and gray! Hooray!!

This is where having key transitional pieces in your wardrobe are necessary. Transitional dressing is just a fancy way of saying it's not quite warm enough to wear my sandals, but I feel silly in my wool sweater. The dress pictured above is a go to for me during that "in-between" seasonal time!

There are many reasons that I love this dress and know that you will as well.

  1. It has long sleeves: on those evenings when it can still be a little chilly you won’t have to worry about bare arms. Plus I just adore the fun flowy sleeve.

  2. It is long enough to wear with booties: this is great for the fact that many of us may not have had a chance to get a pedicure yet (myself included), and you are not quite ready to expose the world to your toes again.

  3. This dress is what I refer to as a “soft floral” print. Due to all of the gray and soft blue tones the print is not too distracting when it is still cooler outside.

  4. Lastly, this dress felt like I was wearing my pajamas! It was light weight, machine washable, and made of breathable cotton!

So as you are looking into that closet and feeling desperate for something that makes sense in this in between time, look no further! And if this dress isn't for you just apply the points above and you will have a guide on what to look for in the future.

keep loving what you wear
