Fresh fall options to look forward to with Saks

With fall on the horizon, it’s time to plan out my essentials for the season! Luckily, Saks has everything I need and more.

When I think of fall, chunky sweaters come to mind, so you know I had to pick at least one to highlight. The Frame Crewneck Sweater is cropped, chunky, and incredibly soft. The blue and white stripes give it a nautical flare making it easy to pair with white denim, sailor shorts, or fun silk cargo pants. I chose to style it a little more laid back with the wide leg denim and Veronica Beard Crocodile-Embossed Leather Boots. I will be wearing these boots on repeat. I’m also going into this time of year with a staple pair of denim. Rag and Bone has an amazing pair of wide-leg cropped jeans that I absolutely love. You can pair them with booties, sneakers, or chunky boots in the fall and the wash is light enough for you to wear this jean year round!

My love for this Priya Crepe Vest grows deeper every day. If you follow me on Instagram you know it’s one of my go to pieces this year. Vests instantly elevate the most basic jean outfit. They can be worn as a layering piece or just by themselves if you’re wanting a chic but sexy look!

If you’re in a cooler climate than Texas, and I hope you are…layer the vest with a fun blazer! I chose the Veronica Beard Beacon Dickey Plaid Linen Jacket because of the fit, the versatility, and I absolutely love plaid for fall. You can wear this jacket in the work place paired with slacks and a blouse, or out with the girls with a t-shirt and sassy heels!

Every season needs a go to black dress and neutral pointed toe boots. Although this one shoulder dress gives off a polished look, it’s a comfortable, easy throw on. It’s simple yet elegant and it will look the part for a number of occasions.
