Summer Dresses with Saks!

Summer heat is in FULL effect as we approach August, and the only way to survive is in a dress! This month I want to focus on four of my favorite versatile dresses from Saks! A little secret…the best system for knowing how versatile a dress is would be to ask yourself if you could wear it with either heels or sneakers. (The most dressy and most casual of shoe options.)

A white dress will always will be the unofficial summer uniform. This basic piece has so many styling options to make it work for any occasion. Pair with a sandal or style with a heel to give it a dressier look! I love the twist detail at the waist. This dress is super flattering!

During closet audits or shopping sessions it’s important that I wear something cute, but comfortable. I was amazed at the ease of the Veronica Beard draped shirt dress. The fabric has a great amount of stretch and the gold ring detail accentuates the waistline. I’m obsessed with this dress!! It’s sexy but conservative at the same time.

I fell in love with the Alice + Olivia floral dress. It’s definitely one of those pieces you can pair with sneakers, sandals, or heels. The floral print is so fun and flirty and I’m always here for a puff sleeve! The colors involved in the dress help it to transition into fall.

Lastly, this is the best denim dress I’ve seen this year. Everything about this dress is a yes! This Alice + Olivia minidress is detailed with puff sleeves and a belted waist. The tiered skirt gives it a casual yet chic look!
