I’ve never met a skinny stripe I didn't like

Topshop Stripe Off The Shoulder Romper | Stuart Weitzman Bootie | Backpack | 'Arrow' Faux Suede Lariat Choker

If you look in my closet you will find a corner dedicated to my skinny stripes. I can hardly walk away from this look when I am in a store because I know that they will always be in style and that stripes are simply timeless. Many trends come and go(thank goodness), but a thin stripe nails it every time!

I went bonkers when I found this romper in the store, in fact I may or may not have squealed out loud as I walked to check out! I mean when two of my favorite things are combined into one fabulous outfit I get happy. Rompers are fab … we can dress them up but still feel comfy because they are shorts. Done! This particular skinny stripe romper takes the eye down the body, adding length to my height of 5`2! Add the booties and I am looking people in the eye besides my 10 year old daughter.

I look at this bold romper and I am aware that I don’t need to add much to it. Remember that loves, less is more. When you wear something that is print or stripe it will not require much in accessories. I don’t want you looking like you are playing dress up with all of your jewelry on when you walk out the door! This thin, simple choker necklace is delicate enough to add interest without being a distraction. It’s a new fav for me going into fall for sure.

Have fun when you get dressed. If you have been afraid of stripes, don’t be. Just make sure it is always a skinny stripe. Wide stripes are not as generous, but they will make you appear to be more generous (if ya get what I’m saying)!

Snag this look or something that makes you feel great and squeal with delight as you check out online or in the store! Grateful for each and everyone of you, you make getting dressed fun for me!
