Life’s a {Garden} Party!
Spring is in full bloom! If you're anything like me, you’re already starting to pull out all of your favorite spring dresses, shorts, and skirts from last year. I practically live in a dress in the spring and summer- especially in Texas because it gets so hot! I am so excited to partner with Saks and find dress options for the garden party I'm hosting in a few weeks. I originally planned to go with a floral print dress but anytime I'm shopping for a specific event, I try to buy something that works for the occasion, makes sense in my closet, and can be worn in many settings.
This classic Veronica Beard dress fits so many body types and it's a style I always go back to and recommend for my clients! The Molly dress is the perfect length for heels or flats depending on your height. My favorite detail of this dress is the hidden zipper behind the buttons, which keeps the buttons from pulling when you sit down. I paired this beautiful mulberry color with some subtly-woven slingbacks.
A wrap dress has proven over the years to be a style that is always on trend. The satin teal of this Sabina dress from Cinq a Sept is even prettier in real life. I'm picky when it comes to a scrunch detail on dresses and tops but this one hit me at the perfect spot! I chose to style this dress with a gorgeous black lace kitten heel. I'm already dreaming of the outfits I can style with these shoes!
If you haven't seen or heard the word Staud you are missing out. This new brand is known for its beaded bags, classic yet trendy dresses, and collabs with brands like Levi's. This is Staud’s take on a classic cotton shirt dress. The quality of this dress is amazing for the price and something I know I'll get a ton of wear out of. I paired it back with a denim jacket that can be worn on or off your shoulders. The shoe options for this outfit are endless but I love the texture of this raffia heeled sandal.
