Springtime Chic: Transition into spring with Saks!

February is always a tricky month when it comes to what to wear and what to buy. Depending on where you live, you’re probably tired of your winter clothes, but it’s not quite warm enough to break out your spring dresses and tops. I’ve picked out three looks that will easily transition you into spring and hopefully pair back to pieces you already own.

Blazers are the perfect outerwear option when transitioning into warmer weather! I especially love the Veronica Beard blazer in this pink tweed. Although this is a season specific fabric and pattern, you will be surprised how often you pull for it. This color pink pairs back perfectly to your ecru or white denim (like these from Frame) but also will work with your favorite classic jean! I love this blazer because you have the option to wear it as a top, leave it open with a blouse or wear it over a simple dress on your shoulders. Blues, creams and even army green will look great with this blazer. Pair these with your favorite neutral shoe- I’ve picked these pointed-toe slingbacks.

Alice and Olivia is notorious for fun and flirty patterns - these Ronnie floral trousers scream SPRING to me! I paired these fabulous butterfly pants back to a trendy version of a classic button down top. Both of these pieces can be styled a bunch of different ways- a great way to dress down this look would be to swap out a basic white tee and throw on some sneaks.

If you buy one thing from this blog, consider this cream lace Frame blouse- it’s the perfect transition piece! Although it’s very light-weight, you can easily throw on another layer without feeling too warm- plus it’s a great date night top. These jeans come in a million washes but I specifically love this color for this transitional spring time. I also have so many denim tops I love and this jean looks amazing with blue.

From light layers to fun prints, these pieces will make the spring switch a breeze! As always, thanks to Saks, and happy spring, everyone!
