Every season brings with it something new and exciting in the way of trends. We either love or hate these ideas that spring forth from the magazines and stores - letting us know how we can look so fabulous and current by embracing the trends! I am a firm believer in trying things and seeing what you think. You may surprise yourself!

Ruffles are everywhere this spring! There is a romance and a softness that comes with the ruffle look, it is so feminine. I spotted this gem at Club Monaco and loved it right away. Sleeve detail and ruffles made it an instant trend update for me! I find that when the top has so much detail the rest of the outfit should be simple and understated. I paired my ruffle top back with my Mott and Bow denim skinny jeans and my neutral Sam Edelman block heels. Less is more when one piece has so much detail, it allows you to wear the top and not the other way around!

I plan on wearing this look to work, on a date night, to a girls dinner, or even church! I always always believe in wearing my clothes as much as I can and not saving them. I find that when I/we buy items for specific events I/we tend to “save” the item for that time and tend to avoid it after. If blush is not your color this top also comes in black as well, and it is on major sale! Double win! Sales and current trends are what we all love, right?

Don’t be afraid to step outside of your fashion box, it never hurts to try! Ruffles are a strong look for spring and I don’t want you to miss out on it!
