I always love knowing what fabulous cosmetics and goodies my friends are using! You never know what product someone may have discovered right when you needed a fresh mascara or the new best foundation! Today on the blog I am sharing what's in my makeup bag... some of my favs, some old and some new that I use everyday!

1. Beauty Counter Tint Skin Hydrating Foundation - I have hit that a phase in life where I want great coverage but I don’t want it to look like I caked the foundation on. I need moisture almost more than anything on my skin, and I also don’t want to look shiny. A dear friend sent me this foundation a while ago and I have never looked back. Not only is the brand AHHH- mazing, (think completely chemical free), the foundation really works and does exactly what I was looking for. I have been asked a lot lately why my skin looks so creamy and this my friends is the answer. I have used all sorts of wonderful, high end brands and to say I was skeptical of using a new brand that I could only buy online made me extremely apprehensive. Well, I am hooked, an you will be too!

2. Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Brush - A client gifted me this foundation brush recently. I was ready to update from my sponge and I thought I would give it a go! This foundation brush is the softest thing ever and I love the way it evenly spreads my foundation. Yes, I can use my hands if needed but this really makes a huge difference on the application. I also feel like it keeps me from being too rough on my skin when I apply my makeup!

3. Diorshow Fusion Mono in Meteore- This is hands down my favorite eyeshadow of all time. I have been using it for over 2 years and I swear by it. I want an eyeshadow that gives enough color without it taking me 3 shades and 4 brushes to put it all on. I am always in a hurry in the mornings and this shadow saves me so much time. I just apply it with my finger onto the lid and I’m ready to go! I also get stopped daily and asked what eyeshadow I have on, I’m not kidding. Its super easy and tons of fun to wear!

4.Anastasia Brow Wiz- I need help in the bra deparment, and until I have save enough funds to get some permanent help, I depend on this stick to save my brows. The brows are a huge focal point of the face and making sure they look fuller but not filled in or drawn on is important. The brow wiz gives just enough definition without making you feel over-drawn.

5.Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift- whether you are the girl who stays up too late chillin with netflix or you just have naturally dark under eyes, this is your magic stick. I can’t go without this concealor. I want enough coverage to hide my darker under eye spots but again, I don’t want to look like a raccoon either. This really does lift the eye game and help you looked rested and fresh!

6.Chanel Le Volume Mascara- I used to wear eyelash extensions and when I took them off last September I had almost nothing in the way of lashes. I needed major help in the mascara department. A gal pal in the Nordstrom cosmetics department knew exactly which one I needed and I have been so pleased with the results! This mascara adds a ton of volume and length and I am one happy woman!! I actually get asked now if I have extensions and i just say, “nope, just really good mascara!”

7. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue-I have tried several eye creams and I always tend to feel like I can’t really tell if they are working. I love the name of this one because it really does for like magic on. The price for the amount that you get is magic as well! It is super moisturizing and I know that it helps with my bags and puffiness as well!

8.Kopari Coconut Melt- I lather this stuff all over my neck and face a few days a week. I know that my skin sometimes needs more than just my basic moisturizer and this adds the extra touch I need when my skin can get dehydrated from the sun and summer elements. The neck is an area I tend to forget to lather on and it by far ages faster than my face! This also smells amazing and I feel like I am at the beach! Kopari is one of my fav new brands for sure this year! They have a ton of great products and I will keep you posted on more soon!

9. Olio E Osso- I have to, have to have something on my lips before I go to bed. I need a lip balm that won’t dry my lips out and one that lasts. This is not a cheap one, but it has fabulous ingredients that are 100% natural! I can tell this balm will last forever too because I use it every night and it still looks almost new. This is an item that is not glamorous but is necessary, so be smart and get a good one!
