Trending This Summer with Saks
My summer wardrobe 95% of the time…dresses! In this Texas heat, they are a necessity and I love being able to easily throw one on with a cute pair of sandals, whether I’m going to work, dinner, or church. Saks has been my one-stop shop for the most current styles. As seasons change, so do trends, so I wanted to give you a little update on what is trending for summer dresses this year.
One trend you’ve probably been noticing is the one-shoulder. This is my personal favorite! I was so excited about this $138 find. I paired it with these Schutz braided sandals that I know will go back with jeans too.
Another detail you’ll see in dresses this summer is cut-outs. Here are two of different price points I thought would be perfect for graduation parties, date night, or vacation! Army green is a great neutral you can pair with your browns and creams, like these canvas platform wedges.
Alright, let’s take it back to the 90’s with the slip dresses! I’m channeling my inner Kate Moss with this trend. Loving this floral satin slip dress that is under $100! I dressed it up with heeled sandals, but you could also throw this on with sneakers and a jean jacket.
Lastly, puff sleeves aren’t going anywhere anytime soon! I’m all about versatility and this navy puff sleeve mini dress gives just that. It’s a step up from a t-shirt dress but can be worn the same way. A simple summer must have!
