How to wear the Cold Shoulder Top and Flared Denim…
Ella Moss Cold Shoulder Top | Frame Wide Leg Flare Jeans | Seamless Bandeau | Shoes of Prey Silver Pump | Treasure & Bond Skinny Flare Jeans (alternate option)
I am obsessed with simple outfit combinations. The less I have to think about the better for all parties involved! I am in a constant state of running around like a crazy person with a full time job and two little munchkins, so I need to keep things easy.
This cold shoulder top makes getting dressed fun and simple. I don’t feel like I am trying too hard, but yet the bare shoulders gives me a bIt of sass. I love some sass! The bordeaux color will be everywhere this fall so I know that I can easily work this color back with lots of looks to come. Just a side note, solids are a better investment long term in the closet. Prints will be harder to wear multiple ways and tend to become dated faster. I have on a plain bandeau bra under this top to avoid any bra strap issues. Bonus, this top is currently on the Nordstrom anniversary sale!
Now, this flare denim…I just can’t get enough of. And I will tell you a secret, I am 5-2. They add so much length to the body when worn the right way. I believe that a flare denim looks best with heels, always. You don’t have to be tall to wear a flare, but you do have to add height when you wear them. Surprise, these bad boys are also on the Nordstrom sale for under $60!
I mean, at the end of the day I have on three things. A great top, killer jeans, and heels! Doesn’t get much easier than that my loves!
