The holiday time is upon us and with that comes all kinds of events and invites to jump into the festive fun! Next to dressing up for the upcoming holidays, we all need something that adds a little pop in the makeup department! How many times have you walked into the cosmetic area in a store and had no clue where to start or what brand you should try? We’ve all been there! I am a full on beauty junkie. I love everything about makeup and skin care. I want to know all the new products to try and the products that are necessary in any makeup bag!

Cle de Peau is one of my go-to lines at Nordstrom! For the holidays I picked up the Luminizing Face Enhancer to replace my old highlighter. It’s always exciting to try new products from a great line when an old one runs out. This is the perfect way to add some subtle shine that isn’t overpowering on the cheekbones. I love a smooth face with just a bit of sparkle! I also have to use a product that I know will last for a long time! I never mind paying for a beauty product when I know that it will make me happy with the end result and I always love finding what I need at Nordstrom because it is my happy place!

While using a highlighter is an extra bit of fun I can’t live without my lip SPF treatment. I am a girl that has to always have something on my lips or they will get chapped fast. I need something in my purse, next to my bed, and in my bathroom drawer at all times so I grab and go. The Cle de Peau UV protective lip treatment is in my top 5 of products that I make a priority. I use this as a lip balm because I have to have the protection from the sun on my face, and I also want to be able to layer with a lipstick on top when I need more color. Having a lip conditioner is a MUST have for every cosmetic bag!

Since the holidays are literally only a few weeks away (cue my type A panic), both of these items make great stocking stuffers or really fabulous gifts for friends! I never stress too much about buying for sweet friends and family, I just walk into my Nordstrom and look at brands that I know are special and make note of who’s getting what. I usually find myself shopping for myself too!
