Thanksgiving Looks
The Thanksgiving countdown is on! This is hands down my favorite time of year. Isn’t it everyone’s?! I look forward to spending sweet time with the family and eating until I can’t possibly fit another bite of pumpkin pie in my mouth.
Another thing I look forward to is what I am going to wear on the holidays! It doesn’t matter if we are spending Thanksgiving at my own mother’s house, I am dressing up. You know for a fact that at least one family picture will be taken and posted all over Facebook! Or maybe you’re planning a Friendsgiving? If you’re like me and enjoy dressing cute for the holiday, check out these few looks. This may inspire you to use pieces you already have in your closet or you can shop these!
Look 1: The perfect balance of dressy and casual. This smocked waist dress gives off the perfect fall vibe. Brown and black fine animal print with sheer sleeves… the cutest detail! You can wear it alone with booties or throw on a leather jacket if it’s chilly. I personally always take an extra layer with me because I’m always cold, but layers are still a thing ladies, so take advantage of it!
Look 2: Here’s your dressier option! I’m all about a leopard print skirt and cozy sweater. Pair these back with a fabulous pair of black pumps to make a feminine silhouette. Add some pearls as the final touch and you’ll be looking classy and established! You can never go wrong with a classic look on a classic holiday.
P.S. – highly recommend skirts on Thanksgiving Day… that means more room for Turkey and dessert!
Look 3: Cute and casual! If you’re less about dressing up and more about being comfortable, this one is for you. It’s flannel season and what better way to represent the holidays than sporting a red plaid flannel? This look will take you perfectly into Christmas too. Pair back with skinny jeans and knee-high boots. Or, if you want to be even more comfy, throw on some sneakers! Either will work and still leave you feeling festive, fashionable and super comfy throughout the day.
Whether you are going dressy, casual, comfy, or a mix of all three - these are all fabulous looks that are easy, affordable and help to spruce up the Holiday action even more! I cherish the time that we have as a family when we get to celebrate these special moments together, so I love having a heads up on what I’m going to wear so that I spend more time with my kids and family and less time in the closet trying to figure out what to wear. I hope your Thanksgiving is a day full of love, laugher, and family! Happy vibes to you all :-).
